Shopping comparisons!
Here's another favourite topic, how much things cost and do they taste the same.  Due to the interest
in this subject I have decided to have a page dedicated specifically to this topic, (mmm there's a
thought, 'Topics' I wonder if you can get them here!).
Heinz beans: $3.66 for a pack of 3 large tins, based on this price (and changing the cost into
pounds) for 1 can (in the multi-pack) it is 50p, compared to 44p from a multi-pack (per can) at Asda.
We also foudn they tasted the same.
Chicken fillets:  At first I thought chicken fillets were extremely expensive in australia and so I didn't
buy them.  But after one occassion wehn I did buy them becasue tehy were on offer I found that they
were expensive becasue you got a lot more for your money.  In the UK I would use a fillet per person,
hereone would be sufficient (and we have good appetites) for 2 people, or if you were hundgry one
and a half.  The meat is a lot more filling and feels more solid.  So even though it seems more
expensive it goes twice as far.
Chocolate:  I found that it doesn't taste the same, and although this is a good thing as it means I will
eat less of it, there are some chocolate bars that are fabulous!!! Such as Mint Twix, if you like
chocolate and mint this is the bar for you!
